This is an international race I look forward to every year. This year the Americans had the home field advantage but the Lawrence brothers riding for Team Australia dominated, as expected. Still Team USA had a succesful event even with problems, riding exceptionally well while avoiding the major problems that some other favorites experienced.
It was a good race in spite of the weather. Many teams had problems but none worse than USA and France. All competed with a lot of heart! Better luck next year.
